Adult Community Services provides counselling services to adults, families and groups that are experiencing significant distress or dysfunction related to a mental disorder, depression, stress resulting from issues in daily living. Requests for service are most commonly received from people who experience depression, suicide ideation, grief reactions, panic attacks, eating disorders, severe stress reactions and adjustment difficulties. All services are designed to promote optimal health and well-being by enhancing the ability of the individual, family, or group to interact effectively within their environment.
Referrals can be made by individuals themselves, physicians, and court mandated professionals.
